Gabriel Portuondo is a native of Brentwood, Long Island and is a graduate of Bucknell University with a BSBA and also of Columbia University with an MFA in acting.  His TV and film credits include:  Hip-Hop Hope (TriBecca Film Festival), Shaft, Little Nicki, Autumn in New York, For Love of the Game, Third Watch and Law & Order. Gabriel recently toured with The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey playing Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Horatio in Hamlet. Other recent leading roles include Henry V in Henry V, Marc Antony in Julius Caesar and Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare Saturdays). Other theatrical credits include: Underground Griots (National Black Theater Festival) Demitrius in A Midsummer Nights Dream., Richard III, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Antony & Cleopatra, Macbeth, Tempest, and Twelfth Night with the Inwood Shakespeare Festival. Gabriel has written a play entitled Urban Aura (produced by Five Stone Productions) combining Shakespeare, spoken word poetry, with jazz, classical, hip-hop and electronic music. Urban Aura is also the collective of artists Gabriel collaborates with which include rappers, singers, poets and dancers. Gabriel worked for three years as a Teaching Artisit teaching theater in The New York City Public School System which included the following directorial credits: King John, MacBeth, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Seagull, Search and Destroy, For Colored Girls, Cuba and his Teddy Bear, and The House of Ramon Iglesia. Other directorial credits include West Side Story and Mame the musical, performed at The Usdan Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to his acting and directing credits, Gabriel designed the music and coordinated the chorus for Aida Croal's adaptation of the Emperor Jones.

KEVIN C. WOODS is a multi-talented gentleman, destined for success. A voice-over artist, Kevin has recently recorded 2 voicemail systems, a commercial for a computer software company, and an independent school cartoon animation. As an actor, Kevin's film credits include Professor Steve in an independent project titled "Maxwell". His theatrical credits include "Actor" in "Saddam: The Musical", A Court Musician in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", Duke Aumerle in Shakespeare's "Richard II", Caius Cassius in Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar", Chorus in Shakespeare's "Henry V", Cliff in the HADLEY Players' production of "Waiting for the Dawn", Stanley in "Blood Moon Fugue", Dave in "The New Salesman" (A production in the 28th Annual Samuel French Festival at the Chernuchin Theatre), and Don Juan in "Don Juan" by Moliere. Kevin C. Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Television & Radio Broadcasting from Brooklyn College, and has studied acting with Roger Simon of the Simon Studios. Kevin is also a Freelance Photographer, Audio Engineer, Carpenter, and he owns a small catering business. Kevin is also hoping to do Shakespeare in the summer with the Texas Shakespeare Festival.

Michael Maher

Michael Maher: trained with members of Michael chekhov's London company, Blair Cutting and Beatrice Straight. Played to roaring laughter in "An Afternoon of Kaufmann" in th eAlgonquin's Oak Room, to sorrow in "An Afternoon of Athol Fugard", and to gasps and screams as The Count in "Dracula" with the Interpalyers regional theater. On 42nd Street's Theater Row has played Bottom in "Midsummer...", Dr. Nemur in "Flowers for Algernon" and Lawrence Vail in "Once in a Lifetime". Other favorite roles are Tom in "The Time of your Life", Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey" Medvodenkoo in "The Seagull" and The Duke of Cornwall in "King Lear".

Larry Floyd

Lawrence Floyd is a actor/ writer/director who was last seen in   Shakespeare Saturday's Henry II (Duke of York.) Other productions include Henry V, Merry Wives of Windsor, Richard II and Julius Caesar   (Shakespeare Saturdays) King Lear  (Yale Repertory)  Jesus Christ Superstar, You Can't Take it With You and A Streetcar Named Desire (Kweskin Theatre)  In The Blood and Natasha  (ATA), Seven Guitars, On Striver's Row. Colored Museum, Boys Next Door and A Soldier's Story (Rich Forum) JB, SkyyPiece and Sugar Cane Fields (Prometheus' Fire),  Hamlet and Ice Cream Truck (TSI). As a director and writer he's directed Odd Couple: Female Version, Long Time Since Yesterday, Fences, Black Girl and Billy Liar and as a writer has written Better, Brother, Talk Back Sylvia, Consider Mary and a children's musical, "The Day the Sun went for a walk." Classically trained, he currently studies with Barbara Montgomery and Petronia Paley and can be seen this month in PBS's "Slavery and the Making of America."

Shawn Palmer

Shawn Palmer is a sophomore at The Calhoun School in Manhattan. She met Jason Kendall while working on All's Well hat Ends Well in ninth grade. This year she is bringing Henry IV, Part I to Calhoun in a co-production with Moonbeam Productions. Last summer she won an award for her portrayal of Mandel in Arthur Miller's Playing for Time at Stage Door Manor. Other recent credits include Guard in Antigone; Pubelius, Citizen I, and Soldier in Julius Caesar; and Elise in The Miser. She is also currently rehearsing a production of Hair, to be performed this spring.

Franz Hewitt

Franz Hewitt was last seen in Shakespeare Saturday's "Richard II". Other Shakespeare Saturday productions include "Twelfth Night" and "Julius Caesar". A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where he was a part of the school's classical training program, he was featured in several University theater productions including Jackie Robert's "Lick o' the Knife" playing the lead character, Alexander Dumas ( the French-African writer of "Three Musketeers". ) Franz was also in Athol Fugard's celebrated work exploring racial and human relationships in 1950's South Africa "Master Harold and the Boys" in the role of Sam, as well as the University Production of Leonard Gershe's "Butterflies are free" playing Don Baker.

Kevin Josephson

Kevin Josephson is a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company's professional acting program. He has previously appeared with this company in Twelfth Night (Malvolio), Henry V (Exeter), Merry Wives of Windsor and Julius Caesar. Other productions include Love's Labours Lost and Merchant of Venice (Instant Shakespeare Company), Macbeth (The Shakespeare Project), Iphigenia at Aulis (Horace Mann Theatre), Writing to Vermeer (Lincoln Center), Lion Tamer (Sande Shurin Theatre) and Stop the Wedding (St. Marks Theater). Excited to be working with such a talented and fun group of actors, he has appeared on Comedy Central and in a number of independent films including Zero's, Miracle and Echo Boomers.
