Notes.

April 7, 2008: Join me in Inwood Park from 8-10 PM.

September 18, 2007: Shakespeare Saturdays breaches its fourth year! Also, I am volunteering at the American Museum of Natural History. Every Sunday, I am there from 10AM to 2PM. If you send me an email, I can get up to four comps for the entire museum including all the major shows. ($45 tix for free!) You just have to got a little tour with me.... It's OK, I have taught college Astronomy and Science for years.

May 29, 2006: The Merry Month of May completed to excellent audiences and wonderful responses. Congratulations and thanks to all participants in this production. Next up: Richard II (as Richard), a Christmas production, and possibly a bit of cabaret. But mostly sleep.

May 2, 2006: If you have found this, you are probably trying to see if coming to see The Dentist is worth your time. Of course it is. Also, you might be trying to see if the comp ticket thing is legit. It is. You may pass it all around to all your friends. See you soon in The Merry Month of May

December 10, 2005: After a sucessful short run of Twelfth Night at Manhattan Rep, I decided to continue the short-run idea with The Two Gentlemen of Verona in January, also at Manhattan Rep. In addition, I booked the space for four weeks in May for a festival of comedy The Merry Month of May. During this festival, I will remount The Dentist (or Be Careful What You Put in Your Mouth) and bring four Shakespeare comedies to the stage, as well as a late-night cabaret. It will be a big year. Two of the Shakespeares will be cast from the reading series Shakespeare Saturdays, with a director being jobbed in.

April 30, 2005: I am happy to be in Sue Morrison's Clown Workshop. She is an amaziing teacher of clown with a great perspective on the importance of the Clown as Artist. I want to thank her and all around her for the opportutity to work with such a talented group of clown artists. To also push things along, I will be producing my new farce The Dentist or Be Careful What Your Put In Your Mouth at The Duplex in June, 2005. Jerry Marco will be directing, and I will be performing some lead role. I want to create a nice tape of the show to send up for their file. Also, the whole show will be taped for the same purpose.
In the meantime, I continue to direct a reading series of Shakespeare plays at the New York Public Library, Inwood Branch. We have done 9, and hopefully we will do many more. To learn more, go here Shakespeare Saturdays

April 4, 2005: I was just accepted into the Casting Pool of Cirque du Soleil for the Clown group. I completed an invitation-only audition in New York on April 5 which placed me into the available list of performers that Cirque would call up to fill new or vacant roles. This is an immense privilige, and I thank Cirque for the opportunity to audition again. Since they are putting together two new shows (one in 2006 and 2007 respectively) I am going to try to make some waves to keep them thinking about me!
