Please always call 917 529 2359 to see if we are going up to the observing location.
Fort Tryon Park is above Dyckman Street and Broadway. However, we'll be doing all the events in the open lawn in front of the Cloisters. You can get there by going to the Main Entrance to Fort Tryon at the top of the hill, and walking towards the Cloisters. There is a large open area to the South, and that in where we will be. Fort Tryon is a lovely wooded park, and you can easily get to the observing location with a short walk from the subway station and 190th Street.
To get there by car, get to Broadway below the Cloisters at the Park. If you are coming from the North, go west on Bennet Avenue. Go up the hill (West) on 187th Street (also accessible from Broadway), and take a right on Overlook Terrace. Take a right on Fort Washington Avenue. Go into the park through the turnaround. Just before the Cloisters, you will see an open area to the left. That is where we are. Park on the North side of the Cloisters and walk back.
All dates are weather permitting.
